KENNEL BOBASS
I'd like to tell a little about my kennel and why Basset Hound became my big passion.
In 1975 I fell in love with a Basset Hound, but it was in 1978 I got my own. It was a bitch but not a show dog at all though she was a Basset and incredible sweet, lovely, beautiful and the best family dog.
In 1981 I got my first litter of puppies and I kept one bitch to use in shows and have been active in shows in Denmark ever since. I have participated in European shows since 1990 and have got nice results.
I normally have from 10 to 12 Basset Hound's in Kennel Bobass and get 2 or 3 litter of puppies every year. I always keep one dog from each litter to use in shows and for breeding. Our puppies is always born in the livingroom and stay there until they are sold.
I set great store in dogs that are typical for the breed, healthy and with good movements. A dog with good movements has a healthy anatomy.
Kennel Bobass is breeder of many Champion's, European winners and World winners, and was breeder of the year in the Danish Basset Club in 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 og 2008.
My ideal Basset Hound is Bobass Buggi Wuggi.
